Version:            (using KDE 4.2.4)
OS:                Linux
Installed from:    SuSE RPMs

If i send messege in jabber groupchat, i have error messege "There was an error in the protocol stream: Malformed stream packet received." Server jabber.ru. Another jabber clients, like gajim or psi, work fine with this server.

kopete's version: 0.70.4
kde's version: 4.2.4
os: debian (obtained from repository - deb pkg)

I am account on server 'jabbim.cz', room is on conf.netlab.cz

In kde 4.3RC1 or RC2 all work fine.
