Description Vadym Krevs 2009-06-22 10:52:04 UTC
Version:           2.2.4 (using 4.2.4 (KDE 4.2.4) "release 2", KDE:42 / openSUSE_11.1)
Compiler:          gcc
OS:                Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.27.23-0.1-default

I am trying to download a new firefox rc from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-rc.html. Clicked on the LInux version for English (British) language. The URL got added to kget but download did not auto-start. I had to manually open the kget window and start the download.

Same thing here, new download is added but paused. I need to resume it manually.
Comment 2 Dario Andres 2009-06-24 17:47:48 UTC
Here using:

Qt: 4.5.1 (qt-copy  971295)
KDE: 4.2.92 (KDE 4.2.92 (KDE 4.3 >= 20090617))
kdelibs svn rev. 984425 / kdebase svn rev. 984427
kdenetwork svn rev. 984704
on ArchLinux i686 - Kernel 2.6.29.4

The download started properly after adding it to KGet clicking on the download link in the provided URL on Konqueror (KGet integration enabled)

This is bug 179843.
It seems you need to delete the .kde4/share/apps/kget/transfers.kgt file from your configuration (old file)
Thanks

Try deleting your ~/.kde4/share/apps/kget/transfers.kgt
