Do you have non image file on your media, as video or sound ? If yes, try with 1.0.0-beta1. i have fixed a crash relevant. Gilles Caulier Any news here? Hi, well, I just upgraded my system to Gentoo/ Sabayon version 5 with KDE 4.3.1. Kernel = 2.6.31 I still cannot read the pictures via the USB hub, no crashes, but mounting the card is problematic. Flashes, switches on and off in Dolphin. I managed to have a workaround - I installed Digikam, I connect my Canon camera directly via USB and I can download my pictures without any problem. I do not have any crashes, but maybe there is a problem with the card reader? I can use any USB device except the SD card reader. I don't know, what I can do to debug this. Have you any suggestions? Thanks, Richard. Thanks in advance Gilles Caulier Hi, thanks, I am already using DigiKam with success in KDE4.2, no problem at all any more.
