Compiler:          cc
OS:                Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.28-13-generic

How to reproduce:
 * mkdir 12345678901234
 * cd 12345678901234
 * wait
 * see how konsole tab text changes to "...2345678901234: bash" even if there's lots of space available in the tab
