Description m.wege 2009-06-21 12:28:18 UTC
Version: 2.2.90 (using 4.2.90 (KDE 4.2.90 (KDE 4.3 Beta2)), Kubuntu packages)
Compiler: cc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.30-020630rc6-generic

I use Kget also via Flashgot as Firefox download-manager. Flashgot also has the possibility of massdownloading all pictures on one page. I know it is possible to set Kget that downloads are automatically started, but normally I do want approve a download and decide where it has to be saved. This comes very annoying if there are 50 requests at once.
So I would like that Kget puts all incoming requests in one window, where you can decide to approve or deny (unfortunately it is possible to trigger flash got by accident) a group of request and also decide to put a group of them in one specifiv folder.

The new transfer dialog does already have this feature, but I'm not sure if it's handled correctly by FlashGot downloads. We need to check.

How can I help? Does this need to be triggered by the external apps?

At the moment it works like this: One download is transfered to Kget, I decide where to save and then the next window appears and so on.

Just try the following: Open a website with Konqueror, Menu "Tools -> Download Manager -> List all links". Select some links, and check download. You will see a dialog which does list all links in one window. I think this should also happen when FlashGot triggers the download action. Not sure at the moment why this does not work...

Yes, this happens. Wow. This definitely should be used with flashgot too.

Hey!

I just tested this... I think it's because Flashgot uses addTransfer instead of showNewtransferdialog...

So, it's a bug in Flashgot... please report it to them...
