Try to change the Placement combobox, and then doing another change in that configuration page (for example the presentation background color), then apply and test again. Created attachment 34636 [details]
Distorted presentation
Only distorted if I use "Default Screen"
(In reply to comment #1) > Try to change the Placement combobox, and then doing another change in that > configuration page (for example the presentation background color), then apply > and test again. No differencewhen using Current Screen, Screen 0, Screen 1. The presentation is displayed on LCD. However, presentation is distorted (see attachment) while Default Screen is selected (still on LCD). If I change the placement combobox and then change another item on that configuration page, the "Apply" butten gets enabled. But still the change of placement is not changed, the presentation is always shown on first display, regardless of the selection. Forgot to mention: Tested Okular version 0.9.2 (KDE 4.3.2) from Kubuntu Karmic. A workaround: * Open Presentation Mode (Window opens on "wrong" screen") * Hold down the "Alt"-key and click-and-hold on the presentation-window * Drag mouse to "right" screen, the window will be moved to that screen This bug is fixed for me using Okular 0.11.2 under 4.5.5, please verify and close this bug. I can confirm that changing the placement works for me in 4.6 and trunk. But the state of the Apply button in the settings dialog does not change selecting an other screen. The change of the screen placement is immediately applied, no matter if I close the dialog with Cancel or OK. Thanks for reminding me. I didn't used the laptop frequently. However, I tested it today and it works like it should on KDE 4.6.0 with Okular 0.12. |
