Currently if I change my status message in Kopete, it's reset on restart (switched to what default status message is). I want Kopete to remember what status message was set before exiting it and set the same status message when it starts automatically.

Dear user, unfortunately Kopete is no longer maintained.

Please migrate to another solution, e.g. for Jabber a possibility is Kaidan, for Matrix a candidate is NeoChat.
