Sentry Crash Report:

Description theewk 2009-06-18 00:33:57 UTC
Application that crashed: kaffeine
Version of the application: 1.0-svn
KDE Version: 4.2.90 (KDE 4.2.90 (KDE 4.3 Beta2))
Qt Version: 4.5.1
Operating System: Linux 2.6.28-11-generic i686
Distribution: Ubuntu karmic (development branch)

What I was doing when the application crashed:
Apparently Kaffeine cannot play WWDC videos located at Apple.com. I assume that those are in Quicktime -format and for some reason Kaffeine just can't play them.

Here is example link to WWDC -video which cannot be played:

Comment 2 Christoph Pfister 2009-06-19 15:31:50 UTC
can you please check whether another xine frontend (xine-ui, gxine, ...) crashes as well with this video?
