Version:            (using KDE 4.2.90)
OS:                Linux
Installed from:    Ubuntu Packages

Using Kubuntu 9.04 AMD64, kernel 2.6.30, KDE 4.3 beta2 (4.2.90) from Kubuntu ppa packages.

Sometimes, when adding a widget to the panel, closing the session, and logging in again, the widget's position is not preserved.

I've experienced this bug with two plasmoids: 
1) folder view on desktop
2) spacer on a panel

I don't think it is related, as I have no plasma crashes, and the widgets only change position after closing session and logging in again.

I experience the same bug. It can happen with any plasmoid. I wish there was a 
way to reproduce it, because its quite rare
