Having the exect opposite ("use proxy xyz only for domain xyz.com") makes sense for some situations as well (e.g. connecting to your company's intranet using something like ssh -L 3128:internal-proxy:3128 user@sshhost.company.com -> Use localhost:3128 as a proxy for *.company.com only
