Xev shows that with KHotKeys running and Control_L pressed when key W is pressed instead of key press event following key notify event is generated: KeymapNotify event, serial 34, synthetic NO, window 0x0, keys: 2 0 0 2 32 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 "Input actions" settings does not have active anything related to Ctrl+W.
