Version:           0.70.2 (using 4.2.2 (KDE 4.2.2), Debian packages)
Compiler:          cc
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.29-rc8

In chat i can only scroll conversation history if input box is empty. if i write something and trying to scroll with hotkeys - scrolling does not work.

how to reproduce:
1. open chat
2. chat with someone (to fill history)
2. write something in input window but do not press enter, press `PgUP` (or your hotkey) to scroll back.

result:
history is not scrolled.

expected Behaviour:
history should be scrolled.

Dear user, unfortunately Kopete is no longer maintained.

Please migrate to another solution, e.g. for Jabber a possibility is Kaidan, for Matrix a candidate is NeoChat.
