When you assign a window shortcut key to a program, and then try to close the program, the desktop freezes for about 20 seconds. Desktop effects are enabled, and when I disable them, the desktop reacts as expected, and immediately closes the program.

Disabling the window shortcut, or disabling desktop effects solves the problem, but I really like window shortcuts and effects.
