Description François Rey 2009-06-07 11:20:08 UTC
Version: KOrganizer Version 4.2.3 (using KDE 4.2.3)
OS: Other

There should be an easy way to view all events or all to-do in one single screen.
Right now the list view only displays events or to-do relevant to the date range selected. Since there is no way to select a range larger than a month, and there's no way to avoid the date range filter, the list view is inherently limited.
I am surprised there's no such feature yet reported as a wish.I'm new to KDE, so I'm sorry if I missed something.
My use case for such feature is this: i just imported all events and todo from outlook, and now I'd like to clean up a bit (eg. remove birthdays, old infuzer events, etc.).
I can imagine many other use case for this: view all events/to-do of one category, recategorize, etc.

I also think this is a big miss. Should be pretty simple to implement...

"There should be an easy way to view all events or all to-do in one single
screen."

Just use the find dialog. It provides the same information as the event list and has no limitations.

As previously noted, the Edit > Find... dialog does not limit the date range.
