Description Pascal d'Hermilly 2009-06-07 00:42:58 UTC
Version: 2.1 (using KDE 4.2.4)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

It would be very nice if filtering in the collection was accent insensitive.
Now: when I filter for Tiesto, I don't find Tiësto
If wish is granted: I find Tiësto when I filter for Tiesto.

Of course there are many accents. Others could be: ö, é, è, ß, ü, ñ, etc.

this was meant as a wish. I don't think I can change it my self
Comment 2 Mikko C. 2009-06-07 08:06:15 UTC
It works for me with è, é, ò, à, ì, ù.
About umlauts, it might be related to https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=178278

It is indeed a duplicate as the User locale is not read correctly by mysqle

The duplicate bug is primarily about case-sensitivity. Are you sure this is the same as accent sensitivity?
