Is this possibly a duplicate of Bug 194830? No, this is about the collection browser, the other about the playlist. Set correct component. This would also be useful for showing artists when sorting by "album artist". For example, John Lennon and Yoko Ono released an album called Double Fantasy. I've got this tagged as Album Artist = "John Lennon & Yoko Ono". However, each track is correctly tagged with the actual person that performed it. Mostly it alternates between the two. Sometimes I feel like creating a playlist with only the John Lennon tracks, but I cannot see which are his from the left pane. Another use-case example. I have an album by "Foo", except for one track that is "Foo (featuring Bar)". I can't remember the name of this track. How can I find this in the left pane? An additional feature of this would be to allow sorting by the custom fields. I'd love to be able to sort by last played date, so I can scan the list in this order for things I haven't listened to for a while. *** This bug has been confirmed by popular vote. *** We do not confirm wishlist items. Stop with this emotional rollercoaster! Almost 10 years in waiting, please do not give us false hope ;) |
