Description z0idberg 2009-06-05 14:26:16 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.4)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

Currently, when composing an email, there is no way to see the encoding of the outgoing mail except by clicking on “Options/encodings”.

I think, it would be better if the current encoding could be displayed either in the window title bar or in the status bar in the bottom (next to “line“ and “column”)

Can you please provide a usecase for this? I'm having a hard time figuring out why this would be needed.

Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented.
Thank you for your understanding.

Instead of creating a new feature request, please confirm here if the wishlist is still valid for kmail2.
