Version: (using KDE 4.2.3)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

The user should be able to select Crash / Bug / Wishlist before the Bugzilla search results screen, so that bugzilla would return only the relevant search results. There is no sense in checking crashers for dupes of wishlist items.

This could also be useful to start addressing another issue: do not tell the reporter to post on the possible duplicates if searching for crashes, as this will lead to mixed reports with different backtraces.
Comment 2 Dario Andres 2009-09-11 16:27:45 UTC
.... or use a proper logic to detect "same crash" reports.

Thank you for the bug report.

As this report hasn't seen any changes in 5 years or more, we ask if you can please confirm that the issue still persists.

If this bug is no longer persisting or relevant please change the status to resolved.

You can do this on the Advanced Search page already; for anything else, it would have to be implemented upstream in Bugzilla itself, so please report there if it's something you're still interested in. Thanks!
