Description Jacopo De Simoi 2009-06-02 11:36:56 UTC
Version:            (using Devel)
OS:                Linux
Installed from:    Compiled sources

The air theme has a 4px border painted in black/white/gray when compositing is disabled; apparently it corresponds to the transparent shadow when compositing is enabled

the issue affects also tooltips and extenders;

I just upped from svn and the issue seems gone on dialogs (krunner), but it is still there for tooltips and extenders (there is a gray frame around the background)

air is still in playground and still a work-in-progress for 4.3 ... this report is accurate, but i'm not sure how useful it is to report bugs against air just yet...
Comment 4 Marco Martin 2009-06-02 19:29:51 UTC
uff, as usual, this is not a problem of the theme but from the fact that changing from composite to non composite on the fly is broken (179042)

*** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 179042 ***

I am probably wrong, but I recall from a casual conversation on IRC that air was planned to be the default theme for 4.3; that's why I reported the bug here.
Comment 6 Aaron J. Seigo 2009-06-05 07:02:10 UTC
yes, it's the planned default, but it hasn't been moved over yet because it's not ready .. there are existing known issues around.
