im using yahoo protocol.
im trying to send a file, but failed.what i got was "unknown error code 16"

I have the same problem, on my yahoo profile I try to send a file to my yahoo friend, the dialogue box for the transfer appears then after a bit it tells me the user has cancelled the action ( which neither of us has ) and reports a failure. Seems like a basic feature that should be up and running by now, also the Kopete website seems very out of date to me

Yes I can confirm Sending Files does not work..

I am currently looking at it.. You can receive now with the latest trunk but not send.

So will KDE 4.4 contain the version of Kopete that will at least allow me to receive files ( all i see on the KDE site is support for avatars from webcam )?

Hello from the KDE Bugsquad!

Unfortunately, Yahoo has discontinued the Yahoo Messenger service, and the code has been removed from Kopete.

Thus, I am closing this bug as "UNMAINTAINED" since it will no longer be fixable, or able to operate due to Yahoo.
