Kmail is unable to export GPG keys to send to other email recipients.

Reproduction:
1. From Kontact/Kmail, open new email message
2. Select Attach -> Attach Public Key  OR Attach -> Attach My Public Key
3. Kmail responds with following error:
  "An error occurred while trying to export the key from the backend:  General Error"

Resolved by upgrades to gnupg or kmail (or both?)
