If I try to rotate a RAW file (Minolta RAW, MRW) I get an error message that RAW files can't be rotated.
That's right, because RAW files shouldn't be touched. But it would be possible to store rotation information in the database and apply it for the thumbnails and the raw image after opening and extracting. For example LightZone does it like that.

OK, you're right. I've recognized bug 137191 before but I haven't read it until the end. I thought it was only a problem of incorrect or misinterpreted EXIF rotate data.

But when I read on I saw that the effect is the same: A rotate metadata is needed.
