Description Dimitrios Glentadakis 2009-05-31 17:35:27 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.2)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Mandriva RPMs

it would be usefull if lokalize does a check of the po file (like poedit does on exit)
actually, to do this i use the command :
msgfmt el.po -o /dev/null

I agree. This is very useful. After people have moved from KBabel (which had this feature), we have been getting more files with syntax errors.

One thing to note is that the errors should not stop Lokalize saving the file; it should only give a (prominent) warning. (Sometimes the errors are in the msgid or header, and there is nothing the translator can do inside Lokalize to fix it.)
