Description Javier G. 2009-05-28 16:51:54 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.85)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

Dragon player by default has set the "10 seconds forward" to the key "+" and "10 seconds back" to the key "-"... a simple human being needs discover the right keys or explain him how to use the Configure shortcuts dialog.

Isn't more simple for newbies by default to have configured the left and right keys to those 2 tasks like other video players? "+" and "-" are more associated to volume...
Comment 1 Martin Sandsmark 2009-12-07 02:37:33 UTC
the forward and backward key is used for skipping, not + and -.
Comment 2 Ian Monroe 2009-12-07 02:41:14 UTC
Just to clarify: + & -, as well as left and right arrow keys work.

Sometimes the video you're watching doesn't really allow skipping at the smaller increment that is used for the left and right arrow keys. So I could see a scenario where +/- works and the arrow keys don't. Generally holding down the arrow keys should always work though. :)

The left and right arrow keys work here, so this has been fixed as originally reported.
