The option to have the background as a gradient of 3 colours is gone.  That was the main KDE feature I liked better than non-Free OSes.  Please return it.

A gradient between 2 colors has been added to the color wallpaper plugin. It's not 3 colors as the reporter described but I think it should be marked as done.

This is implemented and is available in KDE 4.4 as pointed out by priomsrb.
