First Pre-Scriptum: Thanks a lot for writing Choqok, this comes the closest by far to what I've been looking for: A clean application, 100% Free Software with no proprietary platform dependencies. It's immediately been promoted to my preferred application for microblogging and I intend on using it as my primary interface from now on.

Second Pre-Scriptum: There are a few things that could make it even better, I intend to file them individually as feature requests, hoping that you'll find the time to look at them.

I'm using both Identi.ca and Twitter in order to have maximum reach, and want to keep both accounts synchronised. There is an automatic twitter update from Identi.ca that makes this very easy, and many Free Software people are using it.

In order to not see everyone's messages twice, it would be good to have a unified timeline between the Identi.ca and Twitter accounts and to have duplicate suppression between them, so that they are only shown once.

This should probably an optional setting though, where several "streams" can be unified under one label, as power users seem to make use of multiple accounts for multiple purposes.

It would also be nice to have a unified "posting" text area... The equivalent of Quick Post with all ticked, but on top of the unified timeline...

Choqok is unfortunately no longer maintained.

If a new maintainer wants to step up and take care, the project is archived here:

https://invent.kde.org/network/choqok

You can just clone it in your private namespace on invent.kde.org and if you have started to work on it and fixed/implemented something get it reviewed and the project unarchived.
