If you can reproduce the crash at will, may you read
http://techbase.kde.org/Development/Tutorials/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports
and post a complete backtrace here?
You need to install the "kdepim4-debuginfo"/"kdepimlibs4-debuginfo" packages
This may be related to bug 188142 (and bug 191927)

I'm unable to reproduce it, because in meanwhile I have to update my system, which brings me also a newest KDE 4.3beta. In this release the bug is gone, so I marked this bug as FIXED.
