Version:           1.11.2 (using KDE 4.2.2)
Installed from:    Debian testing/unstable Packages

I noticed that recent versions of Kmail that ship with KDE 4.x have a tab bar on the top and allow you to open up different folders as individual tabs.

However, my requirement is to open the same folder (Inbox) multiple times with tabs. In each of these views of Inbox, I will have a different search query to choose which sort of messages to show.

Is there already a way to do this that I'm missing out on?

Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented.
