When entering letters into the quick search bar in Kaddressbook 4.1, the whole of Kontact locks up for about 30 seconds. After it unlocks, adding another letter or removing the original letter locks it up again.

This was fixed recently on KDE4.3trunk and it will also be on 4.2.4.

The development of the old KAddressBook will be discontinued for KDE 4.4.
Since the new application has the same name, but a completly new code base we close all bug reports against the old version and ask the submitters to resend there reports against the new product.
