Description Syam 2009-05-24 08:40:16 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.2)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Fedora RPMs

Clicking on the system tray icon toggles the window visibility. If the Akregator window is already open, but not the active window, then IMHO, clicking on the systray icon should raise it.
In the current implementation, if I click on the icon, and the window is already open, it gets hidden.

On a related note, do we really need to hide the window on systray icon click? Isn't it more intuitive to raise the window on click, regardless of it's current state? The KOrganizer icon, for example, does this. Clicking on the systray icon never hides the KOrganizer window.

This seems to be fixed in Akregator 1.4.2 on KDE 4.2.3 on Fedora 11. Clicking on the tray icon will raise the window if it's already open, but not active. if it's already active, then clicking on the tray icon will hide it.

So closing as 'Fixed'. Thanks.
