It seems that amarok saves the playlist only on exit. That's bad in case I need to kill it quickly or something kills X quickly, because I need to rebuild the playlist manually.
I found an old bug way back from version 1.something (#108814) where the issue was the same and has been fixed, too - but it seems that it didn't make it into version 2 yet.
