Version:            (using KDE 4.2.85)
Installed from:    SuSE RPMs

The pager plasmoid contains unnecessary spacing (padding), as shown on screenshot. It breaks panel layouts too.

Confirmed still in 4.3 RC3, and it happens for both vertical and horizontal panels.

on the desktop, if you ask for 3 rows in the pager it will give you 3 rows, but will keep the aspect ratio. ergo the padding.

as for in-panel missalignments a patch went in a few days back that addresses this.
