gdb backtrace is not suitable. Are you installed digikam-debug package or compiled digiKam with full debug info (loook README fr details) Anyway, with current code from svn (0.11.0), i have fixed some crash relevant of video thumbs get for camera. Gilles Caulier I'm installing digikam-dbg, and I'll try to reproduce the crash then. I've noted that everything is going well if I mount the camera as an external drive in Dolphin, prior to opening Digikam pictures-import gui. If I go directly for "Import images with Digikam" in the external media dialog I get the crash. I'll try newer version as soon as it's available in Debian experimental or Unstable, I don't have time to build it now... Thanks for you attention, and your work. Any updates here? Debian unstable should have new packages by now. Andi Hi, the camera Panasonic (Lumix) dmc-tz5 is only episodically available to me, I had the opportunity to use it this week twice, and everything went well. I am now running Digikam 2:1.0.0~beta4-2 from Debian "testing" ("Squeeze"), on KDE4.3.1. So regarding Digikam the crashes seem to be gone, issue solved. Now let's find why the device-manager applet isn't unmounting cleanly mass-storage style cameras... But that's another story ;-) Thanks for your work. |
