Can't imagine there's no bug report open for this, but couldn't find it. I'm filing this as a usuability bug (not a feature request).

I saw a lot of people struggling with the feature which does desktop change on mouse scroll. Especially touchpad users accidentally scroll while not being aware which widget they're currently hovering over and get confused because all the windows have gone.
