Description Maciej Pilichowski 2009-05-21 14:19:27 UTC
Version:            (using KDE 4.2.2)
Installed from:    SuSE RPMs

Currently dolphin has filter but it is more like "search filter".

I am thinking about k3b like filter -- which works as file type filter.

Show:
* images
* multimedia
* text documents
...
* user defined

So I could type in
*.txt *.jpg

And both *.txt and *.jpg files would be shown only.

You can do this by bringing up the Find interface (Ctrl+f, or the Find button in the toolbar), changing the location to "From here" and choosing the file type you want.
