Description Tristan Grimaux 2009-05-20 20:43:47 UTC
Version: 3.2.3 (using 4.2.3 (KDE 4.2.3), Kubuntu packages)
Compiler: cc
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.29-02062903-ageneric

There should be a way to save a file with superuser privileges. When using sessions with several files, some of them might be configuration files, or files only accessible by root, but many are not. So, if I open a session with kdesudo the entire session will belong to root.

There might be a "save as root" menu option with a kdesudo asking a password to save that file, or an option in the save as dialog, to become root.

Thanks for reading.
