Version: (using Devel)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Compiled sources

It would be nice, if Konsole shipped with a Profile that uses urxvts bindings.

urxvt is very common and is probably the most used terminal emulator at the moment - which causes some programs being written with its keybindings in mind.

Which programs did you have in mind and how do its key bindings differ from the mostly-XTerm compatible bindings we currently use?
Comment 2 Rasmus Steinke 2009-05-20 19:49:21 UTC
i today had this with weechat (the devel version) which has all its key bindings configured for urxvt by default.

at least ctrl+up/down didnt work at all (since konsole returns different key codes for the keys) - it just produced a capital A.

Switching to Linux Console Profile disabled Alt+left/right keys for me on the other hand

If someone can provide a patch or a profile/keybindings that works w/ rxvt, reopen this wish.
