Sentry Crash Report:

Description Yves Pelletier 2009-05-18 23:59:52 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.3)
Compiler: gcc 4.3.3
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

Hi there.

This seems like an intermittent bug, but it happens with enough regularity to be more than just "cosmic rays".

Situation: At home on my Ubuntu 9.04 machine, I am connected to my workstation at work via ssh. I start evolution on the remote machine, and do my e-mails for a while. Then as I click a button on the evolution user interface, plasma crashes and restarts (on the local machine). No big deal, but abnormal behaviour nonetheless.

I hope this report is not a dupe. At any rate I haven't found anything really like it, as far as I could tell.

Thanks for taking a look.

Yves
