Version:            (using KDE 4.2.2)
OS:                Linux
Installed from:    Ubuntu Packages

In KDE 3.x kate showed a popup when an opened file was changed in background. Here Kate was asking whether it shall be reloaded again. 
That is missing in KDE 4.2.2.

Even if I try to open again the file with kate (cause I know it was changed in background) the old version stays in kate. I have to close first and open again.
