Can't reproduce this here. Check your phonon and xine settings. It's simply impossible for Amarok to be responsible for that... > It's simply impossible for Amarok to be responsible for that...
So explain me why video freezes when Amarok is opened? I was watching a video (everything was fine) but after opening the Amarok, it started to freeze.
I used default settings for xine (VLC and Kaffeine).
Jan, as I told you: check your Phonon settings, it's likely something is not correctly set there. Else, check with your distribution, either online or in their forums. I can't reproduce this bug anyway, so it's certainly related to your settings. And please, do no reopen this bug. Are you using the same hardware? Same distribution? That you can't reproduce my problem, doesn't mean it doesn't exist! If you are solving all bugs like this (closing immediately) that... You should give me an advice how to debug this problem and help with clarification. Sorry but I'll reopen it because I still think it's Amarok's bug. My setting: System Setting -> Multimedia: Device Pref.: all is set to HDA Intel (ALC262 Analog) Backend: Xine Deinterlacing media: DVD Deinterlacing method: use_vo_driver Jan, this is *not* a bug, it's your settings. Once again, Amarok does *not* handle any video related software on the PC, it doesn't even handle sound related software itself, it just sends everything through Phonon. Hence, if you are experiencing problems with your video settings, check for help on the IRC or in the user forums, as this is a support question, *not* a bug. |
