I named my different desktops with task names. E.g. a "devel" desktop, a "mail" desktop etc..

In the pager plasmoid in the panel those names are displayed with sometimes the last character cut off. this happens with thin characters like the small L or even the right part of the small G.

I hope you can reproduce this. I guess its just a wrong calculation of the antialiased string. Maybe you can add some "magic" offset to the string length ;-)

Cut-off desktop names in pager

This screenshot shows the cut-off of characters at the end of the desktop names. Actually the desktops are named: surf, mail, devel, webdev, img and vm.

this is the exact same font problem we've seen in other widgets, and is due to Qt font rendering, or rather, Qt's "correct" rendering of broken fonts.
