In the upcoming KDE 4.3 release, these headers have been changed simply to "Reminder" and "Trigger". Do you think that's better? I suggest "Event" and "Reminder trigger" respectively. The second time is the time the reminder was triggered, right? Created attachment 35744 [details]
reminder window is incomprehensible at login
Sorry, I thought my main comment would be included with my attachment: Here it is: I really agree that the header is confusing. But in addition, I find that I'm being given so much information when the reminder window first pops up, that it's basically incomprehensible. I would strongly prefer just to see event name, and the event time -- any other details I can look up separately if I really want to know it. Alternatively, if I could have the option not to ever show the extra info, that would also be fine. My attachment, posted separately above, shows how the event name gets crowded out in a mishmash of dates. grashdur, I think you'll find the dialog much nicer in 4.3.0 SVN commit 1013862 by winterz: better header names and some tooltips for the headers BUG: 192762 DO_NOT_BACKPORT: new i18n strings M +13 -3 alarmdialog.cpp WebSVN link: http://websvn.kde.org/?view=rev&revision=1013862 |
