Comment 2 Dario Andres 2009-05-15 14:27:01 UTC
Here using:

Qt: 4.5.1 (qt-copy 958974)
KDE: 4.2.85 (KDE 4.2.85 (KDE 4.3 Beta1))
kdelibs svn rev. 967040 / kdebase svn rev. 967041
on ArchLinux i686 - Kernel 2.6.29.2

I can't reproduce the freeze on the testcase URL.
Comment 3 Artem S. Tashkinov 2009-06-03 15:14:05 UTC
For me that happens on http://markmail.org/message/szknz37yf7qg7mr2

Konqueror freezes consuming 100% of CPU.
Comment 4 Artem S. Tashkinov 2009-06-03 15:15:23 UTC
Konqueror Version 4.2.3 (KDE 4.2.3)
Using KDE 4.2.3 (KDE 4.2.3)

Fedora 10 x386 with *all* updates (including testing) installed and NVIDIA driver.
Comment 5 Dario Andres 2009-06-07 20:55:38 UTC
Here using:

Qt: 4.5.1 (qt-copy 971295)
KDE: 4.2.90 (KDE 4.2.90 (KDE 4.3 Beta2))
kdelibs svn rev. 978201 / kdebase svn rev. 978202
on ArchLinux i686 - Kernel 2.6.29.4

Konqueror doesn't freeze on the testcase URL from comment 3 neither.
Do you do something else besides loading that URL, may be clicking at some place?
Thanks
Comment 6 Artem S. Tashkinov 2009-06-08 09:56:34 UTC
No, Konqueror hangs as soon as you visit this page (no user interaction required).

I suppose in KHTML 4.3 this issue has been already resolved, so only KDE 4.2.x users are still affected.

I can give you a SSH login to my PC if you are willing to investigate this issue.
Comment 7 Dario Andres 2009-07-07 22:41:56 UTC
There are not going to be more 4.2 releases so as it is fixed on KDE4.3 codebase I'm closing the report as WORKSFORME

I can confirm it still works here using:

Qt: 4.5.2 (KDE-Qt git commit 46a247a2c9a8c0c4456a02f6a0922d859d88fe76
        Date: Fri Jun 26 13:45:37 2009 +0200)
KDE: 4.3.60 (KDE 4.3.60 (KDE 4.4 >= 20090624))
kdelibs svn rev. 989682 / kdebase svn rev. 989682
on ArchLinux i686 - Kernel 2.6.30

Thanks
