Description Kvikende 2009-05-14 18:07:44 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.3)
Installed from: Fedora RPMs

I am logged into WLM on Kopete. I have the language selected to Norsk (nynorsk) in KDE, and I have Norwegian keyboard setup (by Fedora). In every other application I use, the keyboard setting works as expected. I can create accented and other "modified" letters such as äáéè etc.

In Kopete the result is ¨a´a´e`e which is frustrating because in Norwegian I sometimes have to write for instance "vêr" and "òg" and it looks silly when it says "v^er" and "`og".

This is, as far as I know, how the variant Norwegian no-dead-keys works.

This is fixed in Qt 4.5.1
