Running Kubuntu 9.04 with KDE 4.2.3
When ripping an audio CD, the process is extremely slow:
A CD with 12 tracks takes about 4 hours and seems to slow down on progress. There is no notable difference whether I rip to mp3, ogg or wav format.
Bug #188284 seems related.

Bug confirmed in trunk too.

i can confirm this on kubuntu jaunty 9.04, kde 4.3 beta 2 (4.2.90)

It got better, but the ripping from Dolphin is still much slower than when I use K3b.

Currently using KDE 4.8.3
