Hi,

When I configure mine screensaver at the system panel from kubuntu 9.04, everything seems ok, when I push the test button it works. But when you then press "OK" button and you wait your time, screensaver will not work. Even after a complete restart from the system.
I can't get or find some errors...it just don't work, that's all.

Same problem here on OpenSUSE 11.0 after upgrading from KDE 4.3 beta2 to KDE 4.3 RC1. Screensavers worked before, but not since upgrade to 4.3 RC1. 

Using the TEST button in the ccreensaver configuration works fine, any selected screensaver is running. but afterwords, neither the timeout lets the screensaver start nor any of the various LOCK SCREEN buttons.

Quite annoying because now the system is wide open even when I'm not at my desk.

Same here. Fedora 11, x86_64, KDE 4.3.1.
Login / logout cycle seems to cure it.

Nothing in the xsession-errors log.

these sound like x server problems, possibly related to the nvidia driver. please reopen if the problem persists with current software versions.
