Managing profiles in Yakuake often results in duplication (Creating a "Shell" profile and a "Yakuake" profile results in Konsole showing "Yakuake, Shell, Shell, Yakuake" in its profile list) and random deletion (One or both of the duplicate entries may suddenly vanish and, sometimes, in-use profiles will have disappeared after I restart, losing all of my settings)

The first time this happened, Yakuake wrote a yakuakerc that was so confusing (eg. "DefaultProfile=" and so on) that I had manually edit it in vim to restore normal function.

None of that happens in Yakuake code. Profile reading/writing, the dialogs, the config file key  - all Konsole. Reassigning.

I have this problem, and I don't believe it's the same as #174646.https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=174646#c15 says that "local" i.e. user-defined profiles are all handled correctly, the problem seems to be with system-defined profiles.

In my case, I've defined several profiles myself.  After I restart konsole, some of them are available on the new tab menu (bottom left), and the others aren't.  When I start Manage Profiles, all of the profiles are listed there, but the ones that are missing from the menu are unchecked, and each appears twice: once above the set of checked profiles, and once below it.  If I check the missing profiles and close, then everything goes back to normal again-- until the next time I start konsole.

Can't reproduce it with KDE-4.7.0

Feel free to reopen  if this still happens in recent version.
