Version: (using KDE 4.2.2) OS: Linux Installed from: Ubuntu Packages KMail seems to use the M/D/YY format for message group headers no matter how KDE is configured. For example, I prefer the European setting of DD.MM.YYYY, KMail does use it in the “Date” column but when collapsing messages into groups it uses M/D/YY. It looks like this: Subject Sender Date [> 5/7/09] [v 5/6/09] - Hi there! someone 06.05.2009 00:00 - Re: Hi there! somebody 06.05.2009 10:10 Re: Hi there! someone 06.05.2009 20:20 [> 5/5/09] while I’d expect KMail to honor locale settings (in my case, MM.DD.YYYY date format) in the headers of message groups as it does in the Date headers.
