Version:           1.4.2 (using 4.2.2 (KDE 4.2.2), Kubuntu packages)
Compiler:          cc
OS:                Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.28-11-generic

It would be great if KMail could show subject and Sender of newly arrived mails. The mere number of mails arrived in not very helpful when the user has to decide if he/she wants to open KMail and check.

I guess this is only a case of the more general wish 179521.
