Description Marcus Harrison 2009-05-05 19:29:12 UTC
Version: 2.2.2 (using 4.2.2 (KDE 4.2.2), Gentoo)
Compiler: i686-pc-linux-gnu-gcc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.29-gentoo-r1

Currently, when you click a link for a .torrent file in Konqueror, You get the choice of, "Save as..." or, "Open with KGet". Where I would expect, "Open with KGet" to store it in a temporary file and then download the torrent with KGet, it seems the, "Save as..." does the same, when this is undesirable: when clicking on, "Save as", I would like KGet to store the .torrent file in the destination I select and then download the torrent from there.

It would also be nice if KGet continued to seed torrents after it has finished downloading and has been quit. Currently, it simply marks the download as, "Finished", and doesn't continue to seed the torrent.

Hey!

You can disable the torrent-plugin to not open torrents within KGet... having a difference between "Save as..." and "Open with KGet" is overkill and confusing as well, it just happens to be something strange inside of Konqueror...

KGet should already seed torrents when finished in latest version...
